High School Student Found with Loaded Gun

St. Peter’s Catholic High School on lockdown for an hour today after a male student was found with a loaded handgun in his locker. St. Louis deputies said the boy was taken into custody and if charged, he could be tried as an adult.

The principle of the school was alerted by another student that the boy had a gun in his locker. Officials say a note was found in his locker, explain one bullet was intended for his girlfriend, and another for himself.

County Prosecutor Wesley Bell said the evidence points to a possible attempt of premeditated murder, (SOT:03-----) “Clearly, he was planning to kill someone.” Currently, the student is being treated at a psychiatric hospital.
